Pedroia Wins MVP
November 18, 2008, 2:15 pmHe deserved it, too (him or Youkilis). That’s the worst part.
This is why the Yankees are going to spend money. To Yankee fans, this is embarrassing. In a year that had Robinson Cano looking like a minor leaguer, his Red Sox counterpart takes home MVP honors. That’s tough. While I won’t go as far as to congratulate Pedroia, I will say that it’s a great story and that nobody thought that we would see Dustin Pedroia alongside the NL MVP—-Albert Pujols—standing on top of the league.

At least A-Rod was on the list of candidates, otherwise the Yankees would have been shut out completely. Now that would be embarrassing.
that’s true. strangely, a-rod’s numbers were certainly MVP worthy, but, obviously, in terms of this season, he didn’t have an MVP year (if that makes sense). mussina was able to nab a vote as well.
I love me some Caballito :)
