Pettitte to Play in 2009

“If I come back for one year, I’m coming back for two,” Pettitte told one friend, who asked not to be named because Pettitte did not authorize him to be a spokesman. “I’m opening up the new stadium.”

Once you put on the pinstripes it must be hard to take them off.  Andy leading the youngin’s in 2009 would be a nice treat, especially when you come to the realization that Chien Ming Wang would be the biggest vet in the rotation if Andy wasn’t around.

Now let’s just hope he isn’t terrible this year.
